Alain Kodsi has enjoyed rich and varied careers in legal practice, finance, venture capital, and real estate, and has engaged in numerous community projects. As a member of Heights Advisors, a real estate development and investment management firm, Mr. Kodsi directs investments in social-impact projects, which has resulted in the development of a 165-unit family shelter in partnership with Samaritan Village, and a domestic violence shelter in partnership with Urban Resource Institute. His current aspiration is to establish a shelter for women who have been trafficked. Mr. Kodsi and his wife were also honored as New Yorkers Who Make a Difference for their three decades’ of work with United Neighborhood Houses.
