Rosita Curry lost her mother as a small child, and at age ten lost her father. After living with an older brother for awhile, she entered foster care, and then was ensnared in sex trafficking when she was 13. At age 19, after her arrest for prostitution, the arresting sheriff helped connect her to an organization whose mission was to help survivors of trafficking. Ten years later, Ms. Curry is still out of “the life” and working hard to rebuild her life.
“No matter what I experienced, thank God for my life.”
